Welcome by Martin Güngerich; short note on the Marburg Running School, the BRS and the ideas behind IBRD.
Distribution of light backpacks for shoe transportation to the participants.
Introductory talk (Martin Güngerich):
Biomechanical and evolutional considerations on barefoot running.
Run through the stadium, fields and Marburg residential areas, paused by short notes:
Instructions for healthy running form including co-ordinative workouts (Martin Güngerich)
Experience reports by a long-time barefoot runner (Katrin Kusche) and a barefoot-running newbie (Judith Sikora).
How to deal with (perceived) risks of barefoot running (Martin Güngerich).
Barefoot running on different terrains and under adverse conditions (Martin Güngerich).
Treatment of minor (external) injuries (Emelie Landmann).
Return to the starting point at 1:45 p.m.;
