How many of you skateboarded barefoot growing up or now?

I did.

Check out 3:21 in the video. I did that to my left foot. I still have the scars over my metatarsals too!

When I was about 13, my best friend Charlene and I were skateboarding, or rather, I was doing the pushing, and she was standing on the back...as usual. I was the athletic one; she was the lazy one. ;-) We got all around San Diego that way. My board was a Lonnie Toft with Sims wheels. The board was rather long but not a "longboard." I bought it from her brother Terry. We started down this hill that had lots of gravel on it. The board started to wobble, so I told her to jump on the count of 3. She did not. I ended up scraping the top of my foot. Didn't hurt at first, but as the red prickly dots started filling in, it hurt like hell! Good times!
