We got in a nice 5 mile run Tuesday at 5:00 am.
We heard one screach owl.
I also saw one large owl flying up into a tree real cose to us probably a horned or barred owl. (cool!)

Managed to get out for another parkrun this weekend -so another 5km for me.
It was a pretty wet and muddy course (so added fun!). Felt quite good on this one and held a fairly steady pace throughout. Enjoyable last run for the year!...

Ok winter made it to Dallas TX.
Thursday we did 4 miles.
Today was the last run of 2017 for Boulder and I.
We went out at a little after 6

o am for another 4 miles, it was 31 deg. f., the weather said feels like 22 deg. f., 14 mph wind, slight drizzle.
looks like my year total was approximately 880 mile barefoot 8 miles with shoes. I did a hand full of half Marathons and no full marathons. I really had a nice year of running. :happy:
