He told me that he and Todd couldn't get over how happy Stephanie and I have been these last few months. They've been inspired to hop on the parental train too. Zach is very close with his paralegal, so he's thinking of asking her to be their surrogate.

Denice and I have wanted children for years, but don't seem to be biologically able. We've been talking about adoption, or maybe fostering leading to adoption. My sister had children really young and ended up giving them up to be adopted. It was the best thing that could have happened. They were adopted by a wonderful gay couple, and have grown up to be great people. I hope we will be able to do the same for a child[ren] some day.
