Mileage Reporting Week 45 (Nov 6- Nov 12)

Gentle 4.5km yesterday on a dry but fairly chilly morning -still no frost just yet though so all good underfoot.
Not too much wildlife around at the moment. Ran past a solitary rabbit sitting in the middle of the path -he seemed to take an age to realise I was running towards him. Do the animals get scared less quickly when you're running barefoot I wonder, instead of thumping along towards them in shoes?...

Blue and red 1/2marathon this morning at 8:00 am.
It started off misting rain, by about mile 3 it was coming down very steady rain but only till about mile 6. (Just enough to soak my shirt).
It was real nice out besides the rain.
I saw lots of flying water fowl, the run went along the trinity river.
There was some glass along some parts of the run but I didn't get any in my feet.yeah!

Finished the week off with a 6.5km trail run.
Went back to a nearby woods and picked my way round a very wet and muddy route.
Although it was raining the temperature was ok for running, and it's nice and peaceful running through the trees early in the day.
First half of the run went well, but there were lots of fir cones and stones, etc... on the way back which proved difficult to avoid -so I picked up a few bruises for my troubles along the way

Back out on the road again tomorrow anyway...
