New minimalist shoes on Kickstarter

They do look extremely minimal, very healthy.

He says his shoes are for only a certain group of runners, so it won't make it to the stores. That's a shame. He could reach more people with his shoes if he would target the stores. If he could reach more people, then he would do more good in the world, since the "typical" running shoes today can damage people's feet...and bodies...and prevent people from taking part in a healthy lifestyle.

Now says funding is cancelled.
What does that mean when it says "funding cancelled?" What happens next? Where does all the money go, back to the donors? Or did they meet their goal?

On Kickstarter the money is withdrawn from the accounts if the goal is reached and when the campaign is over. In this case, they didn't reach the goal, the campaign was cancelled and no money were transferred.

Thanks, Smogz.
