4 mile run at 5:00 am, 79 deg. 70% Rh.
We heard 2 or 3 screech owls at mile 2 and spotted one more at mile 3.

Most excellent;)

Bit of a wet morning today, but did 5.5km along the rainsoaked pathways nevertheless.
Good steady run with my long standing running partner. -It seems the curiosity of running regularly with a barefooter (that's me) has prompted my partner to invest in a pair of VFF's and start transitioning! So today we went nice and easy -no interest in speed at all, just in practising form. -I do believe we may have a convert (well to minimalist stage at least)!...;)

Long story short, I got some ring worm on my feet, tried Tinactin to clear it up, had an allergic reaction of hives all over the back of my legs that is into its second week of healing, but I have still been running. I think I have been feeling a little less than spritely because of it, but the runs have generally still been enjoyable and rewarding.

I have still been alternating run lengths, with around 6.5 miles on Mondays, 4.5 miles on Wednesdays, 13.1 miles on Fridays, and about 2 on Saturday.

Also, I got some new Xero shoes because I wanted something besides black and they were great for a 2 mile test last week. But barefoot is always better.

boulder and I had a sweet 10 mile run today at 5:00 am, 77 deg. f. 83 % Rh.
At mile 1 we heard a screech owl.
At mile 3 we heard a great horned owl and saw a bat.
At mile 4 at a creek crossing we spotted ducks.
Close to the end of the run we saw a couple squadrons of Green parrots.

Pleasant 8km on Sunday morning.
Went a bit further than I had originally set out to, but it was a beautiful morning and I seemed to settle into a fairly comfortable rhythm from the start -must be the sunshine!:)...
Legs, etc... all good...
