Tuesday Boulder and I had a nice 5 mile run I could spot the moon and some stars.
There was a lot of road chunder from the storm Sunday night but it did not make our outing a problem.

Nice 7.5km for me this morning.
Quite dark & cold (as usual!). Ran with my shod running partner again on a route we've done a few times -around the lake and through the village. Pace & form all felt good today -so a good way to start the working day.

Ran past the local group of early morning keep fit enthusiasts being put through their paces by their instructor, all under the shelter of one of the underpasses. They always say hello, but I can't help but smile a bit to myself when I see them all wrapped up against the elements doing their thing -& then they see this 'idiot' running by without any shoes on...;)

Monday I wanted to run but I overslept coming off my last nightshift and it got too late, did 10 miles on the bike indoors instead.
Tuesday got out to the trail for 6.4 miles, actually in the upper 50's first barefoot run in a while that doesn't count towards the winter challenge, oh well.
Today (Wed) went back out again for 8.5 miles, actually longest run in over a month and a half. Trying to get back at it. Just above freezing today but it was wet and drizzled for about half of my run. Feet got chilled, never did fully warm back up, but not cold enough for problems.

Weather is warming up the next few days but unfortunately I'll be on shift until next Monday. So just two runs this week, about 15 miles. Might get on the bike rollers but I doubt it. Next week I have off, so hopefully back at it soon...

I managed to get in two barefoot (well, with a sliver of bandage on the tip of the second left toe) 12-mile runs this week, a total of 24 miles. My left second toe has been healing pretty well. We had snow, then thaws. I happened to do both runs at night, in under 50 degree temperatures, even though it has been getting higher than that occasionally.

Most excellent 8 mile run Sunday at 6:00am 50 deg. f.,47% Rh.
We got a shot at the moon for a while it was not full but very cool.
We also got to see a great sunrise along with cedar wax wings fluttering in large groups all over the last part of the run.
We also spotted some green Parrots.
ahh yess

@Runlite01 you always seem to have nature abound, not the first thing that comes to mind in Dallas. Do you run in a park or just on the outskirts somewhere less urban? I do envy the owls and other birds and wildlife you often mention.

I was able to get in a bit more for the week - first time I've got a run in after work in many months - a combination of the lengthening days, getting relieved 30 minutes early, and warmer barefoot friendly temps and I went out for a short one Sunday- 2.65 miles.

I did ride on the bike rollers twice as well bringing my total bike for the week to 30 miles on the bike, and 17.5 running, all barefoot.
