I've never shared a blog or article before (@Barefoot TJ how do you do that where it displays the first few sentences and then has a link to continue?) but I saw this on the barefoot facebook group and it looks very interesting.

Here is a writeup on it https://thelongbrownpath.com/2016/12/24/the-barefoot-sisters/

And they have two books describing their journey which I think I'd like to get (available currently on amazon, https://www.amazon.com/Barefoot-Sis...achian-ebook/dp/B00318D0VY/ref=dp_kinw_strp_1 is the first of the two). This was many years ago, has anyone read these books? I'll be sure to chime back in after I read them.

Hi Tristan,
I read both of their books, Southbound and Walking Home. It took me a while to get through them as I would just take them chapter at a time and I could visualise the scenery and I remember checking out the trail on Google Earth as I was reading it so I could get a feel of the countryside.
They weren't barefoot the entire way as they hit cold and snowy conditions that necessitated footwear.
Hope you enjoy the books.

Neil

I just copy the text out of site that holds the story, then refer the reader to the source if they want to continue reading. What you did here is fine too.
