Hi, friends - I have finally gotten all the kinks worked out and my book on running and being barefoot published. It is titled: Why Does Grandma Run Barefoot?

I am very appreciative of all of the advice and encouragement I have gotten here at the Barefoot Runners Society, hence including you all in the dedication. :) Particular thanks are due to TJ for her encouragement, to Rick Roeber for taking time to write such a wonderful foreward, and to Clinton Voris for the fun cartoon illustrations to liven things up!

If any of you are interested in the book, it is available on amazon in kindle or paperback with colored photos: https://www.amazon.com/Why-Does-Gra...?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1481415654&sr=1-1 You might take note that if you purchase the paperback first, the kindle book is only 99cents.

The black and white trade paperback will be available via amazon in a couple of days, but is already available on CreateSpace. It should be linked with the other books when it gets to amazon. But for now, here is the CreateSpace link: https://www.createspace.com/6784004

The sketch for the cover was from a gal on fiverr.com, then my graphic arts daughter helped me tweak my design of things to maximize it.

I hope this book will encourage many!

Laura

What a lovely read, happysongbird! I think your profile name sums up the book very well!

I really enjoyed the book especially coming off marathon training, which was very dedicated and result orientated, and being reminded of the joy of running barefoot. Took some advise into my last two runs and it helped a lot!.

Thank you very much!
