2016 Plans (Races, Events, Do it Yourself)

@Abide nice race report! Wow seems very hilly but great views! I still cannot imagine running that kind of distance over such elevation change. And to top it off it starts in the evening... so you're up even longer and more fatigued. Is this a normal thing in Ultras? I could see an evening start to something a little shorter such that it would end during daylight the next day, but you're still running through two nights and finishing in the wee hours of morning. After the sun sets the second day and darkness takes over I think I'd struggle with mentally. Anyhow congrats on the finish!

Evening starts seem to happen more in the UK, but most of them start in the morning. UTMB starts at 6pm too and I think they wanted this one to be like that one.

That's exactly what happens one night is easy to manage but that second night is just rough. It's slow and seems to drag on forever. Is a mental game for sure.

7 days til Arkansas Traveller 100. Plan on tackling it in the Lunas, but nervous because it's all rock roads and forest service 4 wheeler roads, lots of rock.

Anyone done it?
