Nice 5 mile run at 5:00 am.
I heard 1 owl and saw lots of rabbits.
The Moon was about 1/4 full.

8.2 miles Monday and 6.3 miles today. Had to herd about 25 Canadian geese during mile 5. The breed like mice around here and some mornings try to take over the path. They probably didn't know they could run quite so fast ;) but they finally took advantage of a place through the reeds, after passing several possibilities, to detour off to the water. Silly birds.

That sounds familiar! I think the geese that frequent the lake where I do most of my running are Bean Geese. They generally toddle off fairly quickly, although I have noticed when they have lots of young and new hatchlings around the adults will sometimes just stand their ground in the middle of the path 'hissing' at you whilst you do your best to run round them!..

14 miles (barefoot) Friday and 3.5 (but in Luna's) today, for a total of 32.2 for the week. Been swimming a bit more with all this sunshine, although I had to do with the power company's tree trimmers in the yard on Thursday. I waited and waited for them to be done, but they were enjoying my backyard too much, I think. When I would glance over to see how things were going, they would be looking at the brick oven my husband built. Sometimes they took time to ask me about certain gardening chores I was doing. So, I finally just put my suit on and got in my pool. And then one of them started asking me questions about my pool! I was glad my husband was working from home that day. And they will be back Tuesday!

Edit: I guess I should clarify that we live in an older neighborhood with power lines going through our large backyard (one acre property).

My week was not so good, busy couple days off and little sleep on my dayshifts at work. But I managed to drag myself for 22.25 miles of barefoot running, and 33 cycling. Next couple weeks might be lower mileage too, will be out of state visiting family, doing some kayaking, touring, and hopefully a few days hiking in the mountains. I might try to get a long run in tomorrow morning, my last day at home for a while.

KTR hope the cut heals quick.
I use a band-aid and cover it with KT tape (the KT tape will usually last 8 to 10 miles sometimes more)

Thanks! Actually, it was nothing. The following day it did not hurt at all, and now it simply looks as if nothing had happened. It was a very small cut, though. Only 3 or 4 mm.
Cheers!
