lo and behold i've found cheap barefoot shoes! (sorry if you all know about this and i am just the last to the party) Zero support and no cushioning, but cheap quality that wears out pretty quickly. I really like my pair.
They look merrell vapor glove copies.. Please, don't support copy shoes made by slave children in toxic factories or whatever - unknown manufacturer means unknown production systems, most probably cheapest possible. Bigger manufacturers aren't that ethical either, but atleast there's some control and they design their own shoes. Buying cheap stuff means (in some cases) pretty much same as taking bribe for looking away when manufacturer does unethical things.
