Hi
I have a five year old girl that I managed to get a pair of merrel barefoots for. But for my 8 year old son there does not seem to be any minimalist shoes to buy.

I had to settle for a pair of Nike free ladies shoes in their smallest size. But where can I find more minimalistic shoes for kids that age (size eu 35 - US 3?) prefereably in europe.

I keep my eye out for sales on amazon and zappos.
merrell barefoot has been great for my kids. They come in very small to very large sizes.
I've been buying them for mine for several years now, and get them the next size up when they grow out of a pair.
I can usually find them for around $30 or less if I take the time to keep checkign and looking for sales, and they last for a while.
The other nice thing is that you can put them in the washer on gentle cycle and they clean up beautifully.

I have also bough new balance minimals for my son.

Vivibarefoot have nice kids shoes I agree but only up to size eu33, my son has 35. Their ladies shoes starts at 36. So there is a gap 3 sizes big if I found a ladies shoe my son could accept. I think men's sites starts at 39.

pediped makes some fairly minimal kids shoes. our kids have worn them (pedipeds) for years, though my daughter is growing out of their sizes and is at an age where the selection in general is pretty awful.

There's a new company over here in Germany just getting started on Kickstarter that's specialising in minimal shoes for kids. It's called wildling.shoes
Unfortunately I don't have kids, yet.
