I already have a pair of this sandals, this post is not for contest, is just to let you know that though they are comfortable sandals, they don't work well in wet/muddy/trail conditions.
This is because, the sole is not the "original" sole, the chabochi sandals are made from a side of the tire, a flat surface with practically no grip. They are also very heavy and the laces are not the originals too.
Beyond all this trouble they fit well and are quite confortable.
I mostly use them to take a walk and only a couple of times to run in the city.
