I just came back from the 2-day BBRF. Highlights for me were meeting and talking to BF runners from all over the country - Florida, Ohio, New York and many states in the Northeast. It was encouraging to hear their about their struggles and victories on their journeys with barefoot running.

A highlight of the weekend was the talk from Tyler Silverman, DPM. He is doing his residency in podiatry at a Boston hospital. He got interested in podiatry because of his injuries as a shod runner. It was refreshing to hear from someone who will be taking the future of running injuries into a new direction instead of the unsupported over-pronation paradigm we have been fed for the last four decades.

I met the first woman to complete the Boston Marathon barefooted. Impressive.

Sunday we concluded our weekend at the Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, MA. It was perfect weather and quite a picturesque setting. Thank you Preston Curtis for a great weekend!

Damn.
