The impending heel strike, even though it never really happened. The lady looking like she's staring at her phone's screen, but it's nowhere near her line of site....only my feet are. The toddler in the stroller looking on in disbelief. I know, Ken Bob says grass leads to poor form, but trust me...I was sprinting the last couple hundred feet that ended in the park, no WAY was I really landing tail wheel first. I was working so hard I even forgot to smile for the camera! My first season of bearded running, just testing out Ken Bob's full system to see how it goes. The race this past Saturday was a Pump & Run, so speed was only part of the skill set required. I ended up with a lower recalculated time than plenty of really fast guys and gals, adds some fun to the run!
