Luna ATS Lace Fit Issues

Has anyone else had trouble with the ATS Lace version of the Lunas? It's like I can't fit them right, either my foot shifts backwards, or it shifts to the side. Either way leads to the Plug being directly under my toe which isn't terribly comfortable. I've tried a tight top strap, and a looser one. I've moved the lace towards the heel, I've tightened the back, but no luck :(

I didn't have these issues with the Equus version (I ran 2 1/2 marathons in them), but for some reason the buckle system doesn't work for me. Anyone else in a similar boat?

I wear mine to run in all the time. I put the strap with the buckle as close to my toes as possible. I also prefer not to have them very tight. Mine are also pretty broken/molded to my foot after over160 miles.

Don't know if you've seen this, but it might help:

You might have better luck with Unshoes. Their strap configuration makes them a little more secure in my opinion.

I tried the Unshoes Feather, but the tread was actually too light and flexible, and effectively bunched under my feet. You would think Sandals would be east right?

Might try the bedrocks, but I can still run in my Luna Equus, or the Xero Contacts.
