I run primarily barefoot or in huaraches. I love it. Though I know that in winter, I won't be able to. I have Raynauds and running barefoot when it's cold isn't good for my piggies. I'm wondering what kind of minimalist shoe would be best to keep my feet warm and dry, emphasis on the warm. I primarily run on the streets.

Any suggestions?

If warm is the issue, I would go find yourself a pair of min shoes that is comfortable for you and then invest in a few really nice pairs of thin wool socks. The wool will do more for the warmth than the shoes. That said, I did some running in the Merrel Sonic Gloves this past winter and was plenty toasty with merino wool toe socks.

Keep your toes together to keep the heat in. Don't run in toe socks or toe shoes. Get some extra thick wool socks and some water shoes, and you should be fine.

I also have Raynauds and recommend wool socks in min-shoes that fit you. Wear the socks when fitting the shoe, of course. Mid-weight hiking socks worked for me. Also, be sure your feet are warm when you start the run. If I start with cold feet it takes 15-20 minutes to warm up even with warm socks. People say to keep your core and head warm too, but that just seems to keep my core warm and my head hot. That is to say, my feet (and hands) do their own thing.

I didn't run a lot this winter, but when I did I used cheap water shoes. I was surprised how well they worked.

It's at least worth trying -- if it works for you, you found a cheap solution. O/w, you're out $8 or so, not a big deal.

Don't I know about the hams/feet doing their own thing... so.. to sum everyone up:

Thin wool, socks.
Keep the toes together (no toe shoes)
start with warm feet
shoes that fit (not too big)

Thank you all!!

Soft star run amocs! Toasty! I have a pair in suede, and it doesn't look liek they offer that anymore, but I wear them as my winter shoe even for just walking when I need to keep my feet warm. They don't let much moisture in, but even on slushy days they stay warm.
Add smartwool socks or something like that and I can't imagine that not improving your situation. Mostly I wear them with the super cheapo super thin socks I buy on sale wherever, but go to the merino wool blends once in a while. I've worn them to walk around in single digit (farenheit) temps with wind with a thin pair of wool socks and not noticed even a bit of chill on my feet.
