Going to see Christopher McDougal talk on Aug. 12th

Tell him I said hi.

Tell him I said hi.

Tell him I didn't say hi.

Tell him I didn't say hi.

 TJ,First, Mr. McDougal has

TJ,

First, Mr. McDougal has no idea who I am, so it's not like he'd care either way if I said hi or not. Second, I don't really expect Adam to tell him either that I said hi or didn't. Third, if he does tell him, it'll be way funnier to tell someone that a person they don't know didn't say hi.

I thought is was most funny

I thought is was most funny to say hi from someone he DIDN'T know, but that's just me.

So last night I did enjoy

So last night I did enjoy the speech, it was basically a carbon copy of a speech I heard him say last week but i enjoyed it. Went with two of my sisters then out to dinner after, so that was really cool to hang out with them.

It was a good turnout, maybe 200 people. I was surprised of how many people didn't read the book yet. Now I know why Mcdougal is still milking this book tour, he is getting paid!

He had a Q&A session afterwards, we hung out for a bit for that. I heard a few questions of how to transition into barefoot running. He really didn't seem to have interest in those questions, he gave a short quick answer. One kid said how he didn't see it practical to run in Fairfield, the town where I live, barefoot. I was going nuts in my seat, I wanted to say how I have been running a year barefoot. I also wanted to help out with all the questions people had about barefoot running.

Connecticut is a big state but I have yet to see another barefoot runner, even at local races I see maybe one person in Vibrams. It definitely has not hit this state yet.

My sister turns to me and says you should start your own barefoot running clinic. I think it would be a huge success where i live. If i had the extra time I would honestly think about starting one.

If you need any help in that

If you need any help in that regard, LBF, we're here to help. In fact, the BRS's Connecticut Chapter President's position is still open...
