Oregon takes the "Dirty Twist" - again!!!

Oh, what have I missed :D
I know Dan, you should at least come out after our runs while you are recovering. We res are going out to some brewery restaurant place after the Gorge run next Sunday. Don't know exactly what time, but we can text you when we get close! :)

Some of us are more normal TJ, I swear!

Oh Nick, Nick, Nick... You are so cute when you try to pretend to be normal. We are probably the best thing that has ever happened to your secret whacky side. ;)

Um, I'm pretty sure you and I are out of the closet, dude. Lol.

Considering I manage this thing, I have to. It sucks, I know. Sometimes, I so wish I could say what I really think about stuff you guys talk about, but I can't for fear I might offend someone and chase them away. Then they can say, "Well, you are in a position of responsibility, there are kids watching, you shouldn't let that go on, etc., etc." Trust me, I've heard it all before here. It bites because it means I can't have any fun and cut up with you all like I want to. Such is the life...
It's like playing in the band--you miss the party that you generated.

Watched a show about fireworks technicians yesterday - frustrating! They spend weeks designing and constructing the show and then can't enjoy it because they have to watch the computer screens telling them when to set off the specific charges (it was specifically a fireworks set to a Rossini opera - there were two technicians - one watched the music notes scroll by on the screen and said "go" to his assistant every time a cue came up, was fascinating to watch them work together).

Made me think of TJ, yes :)

ok, that seal's it - if i ever move back to the States, Oregon is in the top three of places I'll migrate to!
We would love to have you Willie!

I have an old Army buddy of mine that I am converting to barefoot/minimalism and he is coming out here in a couple weeks from Ohio. Hoping to show him all the cool stuff (see brewfests) here, plus there's a couple of us Army friends that live here, and convince him to stay. He's kind of doing the Jason thing right now and being nomadic for a while trying to find himself (kinda jealous in a way).

Hey Nick, I know it's on a Sunday...but, if you are able to, you should meet us after our Gorge run Sunday. Bring the family! It would be a nice drive and we are eating at a BREWERY. :D

Bring the family! ?????????

ya jen, not good. nick's wife already thinks i'm deeply disturbed just from my text messages. i don't think it would be good to see me in action after a run followed by beer. i hang too loose then.notice i said "we kicked the door open"?

tj, you're the boss and can do what you want. smack the kids down when they need it.

:D Hey we've had spouses hang out before - my hubby, Dan's wife, Jim's wife... That being said, I am fairly sure that Nick will NOT bring his family, though it would be cool if he did. :) He doesn't want to let his wife know about his "secret double-life" -I'm sure. ;) Lol. It would be hard for Mike and I to get to know his wife since we'd have to sit in another room and pretend we didn't know them while we danced on the table with lampshades on our heads.
