Inspired by Jen’s post about being addicted to the BF forum…

What are you addicted to??

And BF or min running does not count as is implied by your participation in the “Pub” section of the BF running forum that you are addicted to both running and the forum itself! :D

Ill start with the morning news and cereal

I'm addicted to my two cups of coffee I allow myself a day. This is my one vice that I just have a hard time giving up, so I compromised with myself and quit drinking a pot or two a day and just dropped it to a couple cups.

I may also be addicted to the Oregon Chapter.....
Virtually of course

Caffeine here too. I get terrible withdrawal headaches if I miss my morning coffee. I also have gotten down to one or two cups a day (typically).

Thanks Enso...now I'm really hungry and its only 10am:mad:

Give up coffee? That's crazy talk Nick. Why? Now a pot, that might be too much, but nothing wrong with a couple of cups.
Breaking Bad - that's funny, my wife and I just heard about the show and watched the first episode and now it's mentioned here as being an addiction.

Some friends of ours suggested Breaking Bad to us for quite a while. One night my wife and I were looking through Netflix for something to watch and saw it and thought, what the hell, we'll give it a shot. My friends usually have really bad taste in movies and tv shows so we didn't have a lot of hope. This show surprised us, not because of the quality, but I think because of the shock value. The show almost makes you feel bad and dirty for rooting for bad guys (I guess a good guy that had turned bad). Rick, I had a really bad coffee habit too up until a few years ago. I would drink coffee all day long and all night long, with cream and sugar (2 giant spoons of sugar in each cup!). Not only have I cut back to just two cups a day, but I also no longer use cream or sugar, although I do add a small spoon of local raw honey now.

I know there is a coffee thread that I never added comments too. I'll have to read that one. I stopped putting sweetener in my coffee about a year ago. Don't miss it at all now. I haven't found a good substitute for the cream yet. I guess I could go black (you know the rest of the expression).

Just had my espresso. Oh yeah . . .
When I came home after traveling 10 years, my mom got me an espresso machine, because I had written about the great espressos I had in various places, from Rome to small towns in Ethiopia, where the three electrical lines coming down would typically lead to the school, the administrative post, and the shop with the still-functioning WWII-era espresso machine. I rue the day. That's when coffee went from being an occasional pleasure to a daily habit. 15 years later, I'm still at it--2-3 shots a day. Oh well, I guess they still haven't decided if it's good or bad for you.
