My husband says I am addicted to barefoot running, the barefoot runner's society site, and my barefoot running buddies. Anyone else get this from their SO? Perhaps a support group for barefoot running addiction is in order. Barefoot Runningaholics Anonymous. B.R.A. Hah!

My wife thinks I have a foot fetish

Mine wonders what in the world I could have to say on here. It's running in her mind and so how much can one actually say about running? :D Apparently a lot, look at my message count....
Yah Nick, but how much of that message count is actually about running???? :p

Zetti, a lot of those messages are just like this one, not much to do with actual running.
so now the question is....what ARE you addicted to??? :D

And you are second only to T.J.

Jen, my wife isnt to worried she doesnt share many of my hobbies and activities anyhow... but my MIL is a physical therapist specializing in sports injuries and such. She is also kind of old school stubborn and not onboard with the whole barefoot thing, nor my lack of stretching. We just dont bring it up much around her as it gets kind of awkward when I'm going against her '40 years of experience as a therapist'.

I have friends that are like that, but about other forums. I've probably been on well over two dozen forums, about a dozen actively. Forums such as hearth.com (for wood stoves and the like), candlepowerforum (flashlights) etc. People wonder what the heck can keep me so busy conversing on such topics. :D

So you don't go over there for family dinner barefoot and then wave your bare foot around in front of her face and eat dinner with your feet instead of your hands??? Good thing I'm not you. Lol.

When I started talking to my hubby about starting the BRS he would say, "What could you possibly have to talk about?" I said, "Lots, believe it or not!" He would then mock us, "I run barefoot." "Hey, I run barefoot." "Well, I run barefoot." "I run barefoot too." He always tries to mess with me that way, but he knows now there's more to it than just "I run barefoot."

Hey, I run barefoot, too!

Yep, I'm addicted. The first year, I could get away with being on here. "Honey, I'm just doing research so I won't get hurt". Now she knows better. But she hasn't caught me on the hottest female athlete thread yet. It's all good, because she spends way more time on her d@m* facebook then I do here.

LOL!
