What do you do for a living, if you care to share?

Currently a stay at home dad/Graduate student. I was a manager (both retail store type and corporate department-type) for many years and finally decided to follow my heart and am re-targeting towards teaching (Master's in Teaching almost done); Student teaching starts in three weeks, so my post count will fade/disappear for about 2 months...as will my life.

Microbiology professor. My research lab studies how microbes contribute to the ways toxic metals move around in wells and other underground water.

I run a mass spectrometry core facility, so let me know if you need some samples run!! Among my "best list" of samples are tick salivary glands, the Nesseria gonorrhea samples, and the brain-dissolving amoeba Nagleria fowlerii.

Ha! :D

Organic farmer. We grow over 60 different types of fruit and veggies. We run a CSA, sell at farmer's market, and sell wholesale to local produce stores and restaurants. This year we're adding a flock of fifty chickens. Hoping in the next year to add some free range cattle of sorts and maybe a milking cow or two. Setting up our own little corner of paradise in a place where organic farming is just catching on. Love every minute of it, even after a fourteen hour day in 100 degree July weather.

Work at fish factory. Mostly feeding salmon into cutting machine. Really monotonous and easy stuff, no thinking required. I studied IT stuff at university for ten years, then noticed that I'm too addicted to internet in bad way, wasting too much time without being happy at all. And I am not really interested in IT stuff and working physically is actually more enjoyable. I'm still addicted to internet, but atleast I have software that limits my internet time daily.

Wow! What is the name of the software that limits my internet time? My husband would LOVE to get that for me! Lol. Which is why I need to know what it's called so he never finds out about it. :)

Ha!

Where do you work, Trav1sty? Sounds like the set up I had with Delta.

Environmental Geologist - I used to put dirt in jars. Now I tell people to put dirt in jars and I make pretty pictures about what we find.
