Women and Barefoot/Minimalist

Chicks just need to be jacked up with some shots of testosterone and suddenly they will feel like cavemen and want to rip their shoes off. :)

I didn't really notice the lack of women. Probably because I am one, and honestly don't go around counting. But while I've never seen any other women barefooting (I've only ever seen one other barefooter in the wild, anyway), I've seen quite a few in minimalist shoes. So....I guess it depends.

Ha! Funny.

Wait....who allowed women to run outside in public without their burkas and a male relative?

Sorry to break it to you, Talon. They let them do just about anything, now. It started out with voting, and then driving, etc. It's a classic example of "slippery slope." I try to keep mine in line, but it can be difficult at times. Once in a while I let her out of the house, and she sees what other women are doing. Then she starts whining about wanting to wear shoes and have hobbies. What a PITA.

Gotta go. I have to get the kids ready for bed and clean up the house, and there's a sink full of dishes to do. I don't want her to see me on the computer or I'll get in trouble again......

Yea, that's right.

Well, I don't mind my wife running barefoot as long as it's between the kitchen and other parts of the house....

Actually my wife is a pretty independent person and gets on remarkably well without me...probably even better without me when I think about it. I blame all the government funded vacations I've taken to foreign countries and Illinois. However, it probably did really start going downhill for men when women's suffrage was passed. Oh, well. You can't unflush a toilet.
