Hi all, been a while since I hung here in the BF hood! I’m an OG from the beginnings of the Runners World forums, I believe the first post there was about yoga toes. [emoji16]

I took some time off, but I’m back on the road, building my base and conditioning my feets.

I’m in lower Delaware, I work for Dogfish Head brewery.

Cheers!

Well, well, well! Looky there!

How has barefoot running been going in your neck of the woods?

Welcome back!

Nice to see you around these parts again.

Are you at the main brewery in Milton or one of the other locations? I still have my place in Rehoboth and can be still be found running through town barefoot.

Hey Mac! I'm at the Milton Brewery. The treehouse is right outside my window, a pretty fantastic view!

I haven't done a tom of running over the last year or so, just an occasional trot here and there. I really started building back a few weeks ago. One thing that always amazes me is how smooth the transition back to running happens; I assume it's because of the efficiency of barefoot, but I'm able to get back to 3 miles fairly quickly. I only need to be concerned with conditioning; my legs will let me go much further than my soles! :)

My lungs were always the hardest part to recondition. It always took about 2-3 weeks for me to get back to the way I was. The feets were easy. :barefoot:
