Courir Pieds Nus, le livre de Ken Bob Saxton
By Sly

Salut,

Sylvain Griot is the French translator of the book Running barefoot , the American Ken Bob Saxton, on Thursday 1 st July 2021 Editions Thierry Souccar . A running enthusiast himself, Sylvain has radically changed his approach to running by applying the advice of the American athlete. He tells how the book told his life.

“My name is Sylvain Griot, I am 37 years old and I am the French translator of the book Courir pieds nus , by the American Ken Bob Saxton. I am from Cergy-Pontoise and since December 2019 I have lived in Champagne, near Reims, after having lived for ten years in Portugal, where I worked as a production manager in agricultural engineering.

I run since 2010 2 years with ASICS, lots of problems 1 year with Vibram FF, lots of problems I started the barefoot transition in april 2013, ran my first BF half-marathon in october in 1h29 (my fastest one), and I loved it. Had one blister...

I'll be sharing this on the Home Page, Sly. Ken Bob is a great guy, very easy going, quiet, funny-hysterical, and lots of fun to run with. Congrats on the French version and the article!

No English version? Pooh.

Haha no. A French radio, we speak about barefoot running, the usual conversation, injuriees, social pressure, etc...
Bummer. :(

Hey @Barefoot TJ, please don’t be disappointed...
It’s great that Sly is helping to promote the barefoot running in the French sphere.

That said, I don’t know if this discussion is in the France chapter. :)
Yes, it is great! :)
