Kicking off on a Wednesday, 5km, started on the streets and then came home on the beach. Just a smidgeon under 5 degrees this morning, so I guess that's winter challenge worthy - we've had a few of those mornings lately but at least the wind was light today.

Coming home along the beach, and as I ran towards a bloke with two dogs a big clean-up set came in and washed out the whole beach. I took a hard left and ran for the top of the beach, he saw me coming and bolted too and ended up with soggy boots, but his poor old golden retriever who looked like he wasn't much into running anymore missed his chance and ended up drenched. He didn't seem to mind.

Boulder and I ran 4.5 miles Tuesday at 5:00 am,
We spotted a night Heron and heard a screech owl. nice outing!!

8km on my Friday lunch break today. I haven't been for a lunch time run for months as I don't have many spare hours during the day these days, but it was nice to run in midday temperatures instead of the cold mornings for a change.

I'd like to ask if this forum section and threads is for us runners report how much and where we were running barefoot on a given week.

This week just two days 7km on my usual loop, around 8AM, nice temperature (20ºC) and sunny. I live by the sea :D so right after these runs I went right into the water. Such a good way to start the journey.

Last sunday went to a local trail race. I run on sandals BTW

That's the idea XoseM, but I think barefoot, in sandals, minishoes, anything goes really . I'm envious of your temperatures - I also run by the ocean but at the moment it's sub 10 degrees here and the water's not quite so inviting. :coldfeet:

My contribution - 7.5km this morning with my local social running group. Today they were on the gravel track so I ran in my Merrells and got a few of the usual "I didn't recognise you with shoes on" comments.

Boulder and I had a most excellent 4.5 mile run Thursday at 5:00 am, 72 deg. f. clear skies.
Just out of the gate we spotted a shooting star (or maybe a meteor).
We got out on the road and then spotted a bat fluttering about.
We heard a few screech owls again (nice).

We ran 8 miles this morning at 5:00 am., 81 deg, f. clear skies.
The moon was really cool, like a sliver but you could still see the outline of the rest in a shadow.
We spotted a night heron, bats, parrots, lots of rabbits and lots of squirrels (oh and a turtle)
We heard owls and the parrots.
Nice starting in the dark and finishing with a sunrise!!
