Discolored points of contact?

Hi friends,

I've been getting some discolored patches at the points of contact on my feet (ball and heal mostly). It happens when I take my shoes off from being at work all day. My soles are a little soggy from sweating. These places are clammier than the rest of my feet, and usually pale white or purple. Is this normal? Thanks for the help.

What's different from before? When did this start happening?

I just started noticing it about a month ago. Before my foot was uniform when it got soggy, but now there are the clearly defined areas, callouses I suppose, on the ball, heal, and a little on the sides. I've never had callouses before, so I don't know if this is how they are supposed to look when they are wet. My feet look completely normal when they dry out, btw.

It's probably white like that due to wetness.

Are you wearing different shoes that could be changing your pressure points?

Could be. I don't remember seeing it before I got my Xeros. I'm on vacation, so I've been barefoot for three days, and they look completely normal. It's probably nothing to worry about, I'm just paranoid.
