I would have to say it was going with the flow of gravity and blasting down the hills. I probably looked like an out of control freight train, but it was fun.

Just tell them they're the ones who are hard core for running in shoes.

Totally. I wish I had the time to explain that I was running without shoes to protect my body, and not to appear hard core.
