Saw an interview with Gene Simons talking about Prince's incredible performance of "While my guitar gently weeps" with Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, and some others. He wasn't exaggerating. Kinda reminds me of Jimi Hendrix.

It is some pretty amazing guitar playing. Some people just have an over abundance of talent.
I guess all the speculation will be on how he died, I just hope it wasn't any drug related issue (illegal) or even anything issued by a doctor such as happened to Michael Jackson.

Never was a Prince fan, but no denying he has talent! Saw him in LA on 81. He was the first of three bands backing the Stones. He didn't last 5 minutes. Walked off the stage when his guitarist took a beer bottle to the head. He came a long way since then. Eric Clapton was asked how it felt to be the best living guitarist in the world. "You'd have to ask Prince" was his reply.

Me too. Most of his music isn't something I would listen to. Not my style. But damn he has talent!
