Gotta agree with Paul on that one! to be honest though, my feet are so sweaty that even socks wouldn't capture enough of the scent. My old office shoes, I sometimes had to wash my feet when I got home so my girlfriend wouldn't die of asphyxiation.

Yeah, when I wore office shoes monday-friday I found the best approach was to rotate, wear the same pairs every other day. It seems once the funk sets in its hard to get rid of. My Vivo Ra's started to get stinky wearing to the office, and I don't know if you can really 'wash' leather shoes. I spray them with scent eliminator spray I use on my hunting clothes after the last day of the week and let them air dry all weekend and that helped. Once I got a couple other pairs of office shoes, as long as I rotate them and wear good socks (bamboo seems to work best for me) they've never got stinky. But the Ra's seem to stink right back up after a few days. Its like once that bacteria is in there its hard to eliminate it entirely.

I wear RA 2 at the office. Do you wear them with socks? Do you wear them with the insole?
So far, I haven't had much issues with them and I wear barefoot without the insoles. The leather or material inside does carry a distinct scent it seems to me. At the moment, my feet just don't get as sweaty as they did in my other office shoes. With my previous shoes, at the end of the day, you tell the difference if I had sweaty feet or if I'd stepped into an ankle deep puddle.

Like I said, I don't wear shoes without socks. And I've never worn the insoles that come with any minimalist shoe. Well technically I did at one time but because of the smell issue I don't go sockless any more. Maybe the Ra's would be ok, but I'd feel funny without socks at the office, especially since my pants a wear most often are on the shorter side. My feet don't soak socks though, they just stay moist enough I guess.

Well I broke down and got a pair, so I may throw in my 2 cents when I get some shod time in them. They just had a sale on top of their existing sale and it was too good to pass up on. Ended up being only $50. Would have posted the deal but it was only a few days and I hadn't got online here by the time it was over.
