Thursday afternoon.
11.2 mi/18 km down to Ford Parkway Bridge, at 42F/5.5 C, 32F/0C windchill. Very pleasant surface conditions for the most part, but my running fitness still leaves something to be desired. Luckily, it was warm enough to walk a bit and linger on the bridges without having to put on the Sockwa backups.
Friday morning.
3.1 mi/5 km at 32F/0C, 17F/-8.3C windchill. Feet felt fine the whole way. My middle toes' calluses are starting to reform I think. Legs were a bit stiff and heavy, but I think the heavy lifts are helping with recovery.
Umm, all of your links from exrx.net show this image.
Apparently, the webmaster for exrx.net doesn't like hotlinking.
This includes the images that you posted on the overpronation thread. It was actually pretty clever. Though, not so much now, after the exrx.net webmaster blocked it.
Foiled again by the evil webmaster. He's everywhere reminding us of the temporal instability inherent in the interwebs. But you'd think ExRx would like the free publicity, no? In any case, I've taken advantage of that self-same temporal instability/ambiguity and gone back and put in a different link, for posterior posterity.
Yoga, or martial arts, it's definitely a missing element in my fitness routine.
I got me a yoga book, gotta try to work in 5-10 minutes a day.
I know I should really sign up for classes somewhere, but time keeps on slipping, slipping . . .
Side note about my dog running with me.
Wow, smart dog. It's always nice when pets have a function too.
Gearing up for Dallas rock and roll 1/2 marathon this weekend.
Good luck! Will there be any rabbits or owls involved?
Everyone's body is imbalanced
If we were perfectly balanced, we wouldn't need the rest of the universe.
Or perhaps you're like Satoshi Nakamoto, an amalgram of 6 different squirrels who merely share the same computer?
I like that. It's like Sybil or Sqyrbil or something.
