Husband

Poor sucker. He just joined here yesterday and is awaiting his approval. :) His name is 'Sea Monkey' so if you see him before I do, make sure you give him a lot of crap. :D

The husband ran barefoot in secret the other day! 1/4 mile on the old railroad track thingy by our house! He didn't want to hear the nagging...can't imagine why??? Lol.

He tried to run on WW for a 1/4 mile also, but it was too gravely.

So yesterday we went for a 2 hour hike at Multnomah Falls and he wore my Moc3s the whole time.

And he has decided to start training for the Portland Marathon and he is going to do it MINIMALIST!!!

Oh and for those looking on how to encourage their spouses to go barefoot. You need a reward system. The rewards can be...anything. ;)
yeah we get it!:Dyou must think all men are that easy...:p

The 'husband' thread and the 'pets' thread keep appearing next to each other in the list... Conspiracy?

It is very very hard for me to keep up with what he considers an easy pace and I don't really like to say so, so good for your wife.

My wife has dabbled in running but we can't go together because her running pace is a brisk walk for me. She goes out every now and then but it just isn't her thing. My almost 2 year old asks me to go running with him sometimes though. He ran almost all the way around the block last week! I was shocked at how long he kept at it. Of course he has to stop to throw rocks every now and then. :)

You could call that a victory Jen.
I wish my SO would try BFR I am just happy that he runs in minshoes, I guess is better than running in boat anchors.

I wish I could get my wife to run. I would gladly do her pace if it meant she would run. My 2 year old son ran somewhere between a 1/4-1/2 mile the other week with me. He wanted to run so I just kept up with him. Was shocked by how far he ran.

Duh. :D Hey, if all it takes is a breeze...lol.

When I first saw that, I read: All it takes is FeBreeze... Which, I guess there are some folks that get turned on by that scent...I mean, it is fresh-smelling and all...

[Hey - I never said this stuff was going to make sense]
