WEEK 23 BFR (update) & WEEK 24 goals (80 mins)

I was able to get in 3 BFR in the week (25 min, 30 min, 25 min) for WEEK 23. I have been a little worried about adding the third run this week because it means that I am "stepping up" from taking 2 full days off between BFR.

I have been trying to take it slow & concentrate on my posture. But I have had a yoga related injury w/ my lower back when I tried some new poses. I thought this would throw off my BFR for the week, but I gave it a try anyway. The good news is that the BFR had no effect on my low back pain.

So I am subbing more swimming for yoga. And listening to my lower back so if I feel any pain or twinges, then I need to stop.

I should include a more detailed description of the lower back pain. It is a twinge when I get up/down from a sitting position. A nagging but slight pain at other times. Not a problem during a BFR, but I can feel it slightly when I do a "flip turn" when swimming laps. I am taking anti-inflammatories & putting some tiger balm to try to loosen it up. Any other suggestions are welcome!



Here are my goals for WEEK 24 (80 mins total).



Tues: 25 min BFR

Fri: 30 min BFR

Sun: 30 min BFR
