Nice mileage week with 18 miles altogether. Did 3 Monday, 4 Tuesday, skip Wed., 2 Thu., 3 Fri. and 6.2 on Saturday night.
The 2 mile on Thursday was at the high school track. Did one 400 in 1:26, which is pretty good for me. Got the beginnings of a little blister, maybe, on my right foot of course. Those tracks are bad news.
Friday was all 3 on crushed limestone.
Saturday was the Tuscora Park 10K. I finished in 47:48. The race was all on streets. I cheated on a couple parts and ran on the sidewalk which was smoother. After about 4 miles my feet hurt a little bit, so Ijustified it that way. Itook off a little fast, probably did the first mile in 7:00 or so, and that was a mistake.
Had a nice strong finish, and no blisters, but maybe a little bit of zinging going on. 2 or 3 hotspots on the right foot, but by and large injury free. I took Sunday off, and ran 3.5 miles on Monday, so couldn't be too bad!
