Weather was a little nicer today after a few weeks of winter like weather here in the ATL. Went on the Suwanee greenway today to run my 5 miler in my VFF. As I was making my way through the first mile of woods I was passed by two young guys, one in VFF and the other barfooted. As they passed me the barfoot guy gave me a tap on my shoulder "Nice shoes" he said as he passed me. This was the first time I had the chance to run with other barefooted runners. At McGinnis Ferry bridge they turned around and I stopped so we could have a little road site chat. Micheal and David were their names and it seems that David had a pair of 2 day old VFF. Micheal said he is involved in the barefoot runners Society.org or knew the admin so I told him to let the man in charge approve my request to join the Georgia Chapter. It really was kind of fun running with other barefooters, well maybe not with them as they were about 50 feet in front of me the whole time. I'm looking forward to meeting more of you out there and joining in the brother/sisterhood of barefooters.
