Five miles of Tilburg

My favorite Park for running.

OK on the 22nd may I will attend the Tilburg Five miles run.
I've registered, payed and I'm training.
I'm going for it and willblog my progression towards the run.;)
Still have to improve a lot. Running intervals of 16 mins total to strengthen my feet and had a week set-back because I overtraining a muscle in my right foot.
I have a mission now. If all goes well I'll enter the Tilburg ten miles in September.:eek:

Got further than just doing rounds in the park today and went outside town and in to the fields:nailbiting:

Had a very nice interval training of 15 Mins this morning. Enjoyed the morning sun. Spring is in the air and the birds are singing their best songs. Ran 2.38 kms in 5 times 2 mins. With 1 min of rest in-between.
 
Same interval as I did yesterday. It felt really good, even got a bit more distance 2.41 km:)
 
Passed the 3 km during today's run. 3,28 km to be precise. Every week some extra meters. Slowly but steady, enjoying my surroundings.
 
3,58 km today, my calfs recover quicker than before so they start less tired and fitter each run
 
No interval today but 15 Mins just running 3.37 km. If I can keep up this tempo @ the 5 miles, it wil take me about 40 minutes. I have still a long way to go. Enjoying every step therefore I don't mind.
 
Interval today 5 times 4 minutes runs and 1 minute of rest. 4.25 km. If all goes.well I'm going to make it in 40 minutes B-)
 
Same intervals as yesterday. 4..36 km. My legs still felt heavy from yesterday's training.

Yesterday I went running and ran 4.37 km. My youngest daughter came along on her scooter. We had a great time running and scootering (don't know if this is correct English)
 
An other intervaltraining today. 5 times of 5 mins running and 2 mins rest. A totally 5.88 km. Soon I will be running 30 minutes
 
Went out of the park where I normally do my laps. Went outside the park and in to the fields. Loving it. First time in shorts this year . Legs are so white that they must have blinded someone. Sorry for that.
 
6 km through the park, outside of town, enjoying the run, sun, temperature and the nice scenery.
 
Total run of 40 minutes and a total of 6.56 km. Not in my hometown but in Apeldoorn. Most was on dirt instead of asphalt. Loving it.
 
Interval training with a total of 5,41 km in 35 minutes . Orderbos Apeldoorn.
