2 feet of snow and I am just starting out...

So it figures I would start wanting to run barefoot the week we get a 2 foot snow storm. It's not like I was going to go out and run the roads right away anyway, but it's a little hard to even START outside barefoot when temps are 20d and the snow is now threatening my thighs. I have been wearing vibrams a lot this week just to try and help strengthen my feet, and for the first time tonight I went out on my personal treadmill for a quick jog. I could not find the right form to save my life!

So, did you run outside in the snow? How did you like it? Remember, when it's crazy white outside like that, you don't have to (and probably shouldn't) go so far. Just get out there a little ways and enjoy the beauty and peace and quite that comes from a silent day like that...and then to say you did! -TJ

Snow was over 3 feet deep in most place... I couldn't run it in a snow suit let alone barefoot :) Many of the roads in our area were plowed once the night of the storm and still have tons of snow on them, to the point where people are trying to use personal snowblowers to clear them so they can get out. Schools were cancelled today and likely tomorrow because all the bus lots are completely snowed under.

All that sounds exciting to this Georgia Girl. (Well, I'm actually a California Girl, but that's a long story.) My kids would go crazy for some deep snow like that. -TJ

Hah, I'm a Georgia boy myself! Grew up in Athens and then Cartersville. Cartersville had no such thing as a plow, when it snowed school was out till it melted and we sledded on the roads :)
