Hi,
I tried barefoot running back in 2010 after reading Born to Run. I made the mistake of doing too much too soon and got a big blister on my forefoot. The new skin was too thin and tender to run on, so I gave up.
For various reasons, I haven't done much running since then. I am now trying again. So far I have done 3 barefoot runs of distances from 1 mile to about 3.5 miles.

I am hoping to have more success this time and it's great to be part of the barefoot runners society.

Glad to have you here. Ask lots of questions. You're in the right place. We even have our own Barefoot Smiley. :barefoot:

Thanks Sid and TJ. My main issue is going to be avoiding doing too much. My last barefoot run was on Tuesday. I did a couple of easy miles. Since then the only exercise I have done is a kickboxing class (barefoot on a hard floor) and a strength session this morning. I am thinking of running again today, as I think I am ready again! :barefoot:
