T Rocket Yetis Running Sandals

A glorious introduction to Andrew Barnes' excellent T Rocket Yetis. I was lucky enough to win a pair during the summer, and, after a few exchanges with Andrew who impressed me with the care and attention he took in making sandals that would fit well, they have arrived. I've taken them out on a few runs and have been deeply impressed. The Yetis have a much thinner sole than the Luna Leadvilles I of...ten use, offering much greater ground feel. Also unlike my Lunas, the soles manage to stay flat to the ground rather than curl upwards. The footbed holds the feet well even though Andrew encourages that they not be worn too tightly and recommends some foot movement. I was worried that this might cause blisters but this hasn't happened. They are supremely easy to put on and feel very comfy. Highly recommended and excellent value - even if you don't win them in a competition.
