With just 2 months until the big IBR-Day, we're now moving full steam ahead with marketing the event. The T-Shirt contest is underway (Thanks, AJB!). The supporters are posting the IBRD logo on their sites. Facebook is going to overheat from all the activity.
In short, it is getting exciting!
To those thinking of setting up a local run for IBRD, please try to enter your information into the Events Table sooner rather than later.
Why the rush?
Now is the crucial time to get the momentum going. In particular, the press releases should start going out this week. We want to start with a bang (not a wimper). The more events in the list, the more attention we'll get.
It's quite simple!
You don't need to seek out the perfect spot. Just take your favorite local run, and post that. The whole thing will require virtually no work from you. You are not required to hold a workshop or otherwise.
Even if you just end up running with human's best friend (i.e. your dog), that will count as an IBRD event. Hey, come to think of it, most dogs have known about barefoot running from the very beginning!
So, go to the IBRD page, and click on the "entry form" link. There is an FAQ there to answer most questions. I will happily field any other questions you might have.
