Here is short review and photos of fantastic Paleo Paws - As expected from Paleo Paws, they are very flexible, allows you to feel the surface but yet protects from whatever nasty bits hiding beneath from eyes. I can roll my foot in them quite easily and it does not provide any structure to limit foot’s natural flexibility. I ran 7 miles in them on a variety of terrains and they do provide biomechanics efficiency you would expect from a minimalist.
The one element I had concerns about was the weight (I had tried them before but it was a short run and I was concerned if I could handle mid to long distance runs in them). But once they were on my feet I didn’t feel any weight and they felt quite secure (not snug though). Paleos Paws beat my expectations in many ways, they could be worn on almost every natural surface (I haven’t try them on big rocks yet though!) and they allow natural proprioception and protection at the same time from sharp gravel or rocky trail paths and it's real fun to enjoy muddy puddles!!
