Hey all, its been a long hiatus, but I wanted to let you all know that big Joel is back on the barefoot running boards. I was running in my vff bikilas during the winter and finally had the gusto to take them off again. I did a few miles yesterday with my awesome custom fit xeros, and spent today playing with my daughter, nephew, and nieces in the back yard totally barefoot. As always, it felt amazing, and reminded me why I love this group so much. I am rededicating myself to being more active on this site and to running more. Since the new year, I dropped about 15 lbs and it has helped my running tremendously. Also, my wife has been on a running kick so it helps to have a partner to motivate me.(she has a pair of vffs, but isn't sold on the barefoot or minimalist running. Not to worry, I have a lifetime to convince her)
Anyways, I don't want to drone on too long, but I wanted to say hello to my old friends on the site, and I look forward to chatting with you all again soon.
