Eight of us met for International Barefoot Running Day (IBRD), May 1st, 2011. Rob and Glen coordinated the San Diego chapter meeting which was held at Mission Bay Park. Everyone introduced themselves and talked a little bit about themselves and their experiences as barefoot runners. We talked a little about technique, form, stride, and various issues relating to barefoot running. We then ended with a fabulous 3.5 mile run down Mission Bay Park and back. Special thanks to Rob, who currently teaches barefoot and minimalist running clinics at REI, for sharing his wisdom. Click here for more pics.
