So, I got my IBRD run in early. I am in St. Johns Newfoundland for YBC nationals. So tomorrow my whole day is booked therefore I went out today to get my run in. I ran up Signal Hill from the bottom to top. Wow, that was more challenging then I thought. But a funny thing happened, I was half way up and a local on a bike went by me and he had the funniest line that i have heard. For those who do not know about Newfoundland they speak english but have there own dialect. So as he rides by he says " nice set of taps there lad " ,"taps" (sole of your shoes). I laughed and replied that I spend all my shoe money on screech. Kept me in good humor for the rest of the run. Anyway for those going out tomorrow, enjoy and spread the joy.
