    knee question

Oh interesting. Well my knee pain seems to get better with time, maybe some rest and this foam roller stuff will possibly get me to a better place in the future at some point.

    knee question

Do you know the foam roller stretches? I have a sheet of paper with them on it, if you want to see I can take a picture of it.

    knee question

I went to the lady who was helping me exercise for about a year (personal trainer). She gave me some foam roller stretches and I guess the knee has gotten better. But it's kind of like a situation where the injury seems to be mostly be gone, but when I do certain things it comes back. And I...

    I reckon I'm done

Mine isn't fractured anymore but I guess I'll have this dull pain sensation forever. It's okay, it always goes away.

    I reckon I'm done

That same thing happens on my right foot where I had a stress fracture. It hurts a tiny bit sometimes and then the pain goes away after a few minutes of walking/running.

    Ankle Pains

When I was starting out I had a stress fracture and followed this below page to fix it. It took about 3-6 months before I could run again. It took a long time but it works. https://camille-herron.squarespace.com/blog/2011/05/11/overcoming-stress-fractures I think you should approach this...

    Epsom salts?

How many cups do you put? I usually put two cups.

    knee question

I have been running either barefoot (when I'm on clean sidewalks) or with the luna sandals for a few years now. I figured I was past the initial learning curve when I was able to go about 10-14 miles in the sandals. It's never clean enough for my taste to go much more than a couple of miles...

    B12?

I like ZMA, too. Helps me feel like I slept better.

    Epsom salts?

Well I logged in to ask a question and saw your post so I will put what I've heard about these. Stephanie Seneff has a lot of good things to say about epsom salt baths which has nothing to do with running but about nutrition. She says a lot of people are deficient in sulfate (which epsom salts...

RIP Todd Ragsdale (102 Mile Barefoot Ultra - No Simple Feat)

I'd love to see the video of him running barefoot. My searches only seemed to turn up photos.

I would think of tarmac as covered in a layer of tar. But asphalt there is no layer on top, so all the big jagged rocks are hurting more. I don't know if that's correct though.

I wish it would get cold here in Charleston. I still have the A/C going.

Is Venus the one that's next to the moon? I saw something the other day and it was right there by the moon. V/r, Bryan

[Mar 24, 2016] 6th Annual Winter Challenge (Worldwide)

Is that where the bones pop and crackle? I have a thing where my knuckles on my hand are always popping and cracking. It has turned into a habit of mine to just pop them all the time. It happens a little bit all over my body after I go running, mostly in my knees though. But my hands are...

[Mar 24, 2016] 6th Annual Winter Challenge (Worldwide)

Why can't you run anymore did you get hurt? I think walking should count. It seems like it would be even more difficult because my feet would get even colder if I were walking.

    Winter Challenge?

Oh maybe that's why I couldn't find it. Thanks!

    Winter Challenge?

Is there going to be a winter challenge this year? I searched and only found the one started in 2014. Thanks in advance. V/r, Bryan

    5th Annual Winter Challenge

Went for my first try today, it was very cold and dry which is a nice change for Charleston, SC. Usually it is humid here. I turned around when my toes started to get a little cold. I guess I have lost some of the acclimation in my toes from last year's cold.
