One for the CrossFit Crowd - Minimalist Shoe Review: Inov-8 Bare-XF 260

Definitely not narrow. I have a fairly average foot, and I have tons of adjustment left. In the review I noted that the toe box was comparable to the NB Minimus Trail. Not perfect, but I like 'em.

    Running Clothing

Brooks Infinity IIIs! A bit pricey, but it doesn't get any lighter and more comfortable. Not the best choice if you're a modest, full-coverage-to-the-knee kinda guy.

Anyone ever try to modify dress shoes?

I am quite interested as well. I have been looking into doing this on a set of old leather bowler-style shoes that have worn out soles. Gonna try it myself, methinks.

    Cutting the Crap on Sunglasses

It's a neat little shop. They just started carrying Inov8, which I am sure will be a big seller. They are also carrying VIVOBAREFOOT now, which is awesome, of course. It's very boutique/small-ish.

I have been in there, yes. Never actually bought anything, but my running partner is acquainted with the owners. They're doing some neat stuff these days with their run groups and whatnot.

Sweet! My wife and I are actually coordinators for our church. We are in the midst of a class right now, as a matter of fact. I use my running gear addiction and how I keep it satiated through deal shopping as an example of how we make our budget work.

    Cutting the Crap on Sunglasses

This is probably my favorite blog entry to date! The next several entries will all be about running on a budget. I spend a lot of time and effort being able to enjoy running within our meager financial limitations (we are Dave Ramsey disciples), and I thought I would share the...

    Shoes with wide toe box

VIVOBAREFOOT Neos were too narrow for you? Geez, those are some wide feet, Bro. Merrel, New Balance, and definitely Skora are all more narrow than your VIVOs. Altra would be might suggestion. My Adams are the only shoe I own with a toe box wider than my VIVO Neos (which are the same as my Neo...

Why Ultrarunning is the Most Christian Sport

Lots of distance running and race training illustrations in the Bible. I 100% agree with your response about pacing being "rewarding." I don't believe that any act can be purely selfless; there is always some kind of benefit, tangible or otherwise. It is more a matter of "can you delay...
