    Sorry to hear that. I've heard (not a doctor here) that they can do some surgery to get some marrow into the joint which will repair the meniscus, but it sounds like the doctors are giving you something similar or at least as beneficial. How do you think the degeneration started?

    And by legitimate reasons, I'm looking for rebuttals... I can't really think of any real reasons unless they're playing on blacktop pavement at noon in Texas... And there are other reasons not to do that anyway.
