skin cracks on bottom of feet

I have the same problem. I think Vaseline or aquaphor with socks help if done every night, but I hate socks. Just having then on wakes me at night. Curiously, running (barefoot of course) on concrete seems to dry my feet out more than when I run on blacktop.

I think he is bs'ing you as much as the other guy. That broken glass hazard routine is a tired excuse that I have heard several times.

What beer are you drinking tonight? For the new forum...

I bought a gallon+ of draught Breckenridge Christmas Ale to take to a small party. Not bad for an ale.

    People's reactions when you run

It is not unlike biking. I never wear head to toe spandex or the usual biking jerseys that make the person wearing them look like a walking yellow pages if not a circus clown. I also ride a steel lugged bike with rack and panniers. I often get the shunning.

Weightlifters: When do you do squats?

I've been doing one continuous squat for a minute to minute and a half while brushing my teeth. Marksdailyapple.com suggested it. It feels good as a stretch.

I have never tasted anything gluten free that I liked. Perhaps it will kill Canadian geese - I am on a mission!

    Canadians: GO HOME!

17 April, 2013, it was a pleasant morning in Cincinnati. The usual routine at work. I had some extra time at lunch so decided to take a bit of a walk. Headed down a rather steep pave slope from our building on my regular walking path on campus. About half way down this hill I passed a goose who...

Outside Magazine Article About Barefoot Running

It's a Barnum and Bailey world, just as phoney as it can be... I've noticed a surplus "dear antler spray" available now that Ray Lewis retired.

Outside Magazine Article About Barefoot Running

Do words really mean something? In the past when mentioning that I was going to run a marathon, several times people have replied to me: "oh-my niece, newphew, distant cousin, whoever, just ran a three mile marathon last week! How long is your marathon?" But, it's not just non- runners...

    Dirty Look

Woodsman, I have been barefootin' for awhile and the cold annoyed looks that some give still get to me. I have always greeted or otherwise acknowledged others that I pass when running and really expect others to be as friendly. I still don't understand why some people get so upset about bare feet.

Well, I went down to my gym in the late morning yesterday (usually there early morning) when all the pretty people are there. Now I am concerned about the " unnecessary transfer of silicone". How will it show if I absorbed too much? Gynecomastia?

I was enjoying lifting barefooted also, until I was reprimanded and exiled to the lower level treadmills - no free weights down there. So now I lift with the VFF's so that when my toe expodes it will be contained... Should this be a new paragraph? I'm kinda concerned about my post's grammar...
